Sizzle Has His Eyes on You

Sizzle 4 red jacketAdam Aldama aka Sizzle, was born and raised in Sacramento, California where he has been performing since he was a child. He has a natural talent for music, singing, and performing.  Sizzle’s greatest passion in life is music.  Each song is filled with catchy lyrics and smooth vocal melodies.  His inspiration is from those around him.
Fans say “He’s a great performer. When he gets on stage he’s totally in his element, he knows how to schmooze the ladies and connect with the guys.”   With his family friendly mentality, Sizzle says, “I write music anybody can listen to. I got some tracks for the rollers, some tracks for the clubbers and I don’t even cuss that much so you can bump it with your mother.”
Check out his reason behind selecting “Eyes on You” as his current single.
Why did you select this song as your current single?
I Selected that particular song out of all the songs on the album because I thought that it was strong as a single. When I heard the music for that particular song, I knew right away that the music alone was a hit by itself! All it needed was a catchy hook and a smooth melody to move the song along. Also, the lyrics came easy when I wrote it. If something like that comes out fast and easy and you like it a lot, when you are in the creative process mode, then it can only be good.
How does this single relate to the rest of the Album, EP or Mix-tape?
The song is great for the album because it can work as a standalone track, or it can be amongst all the other songs on the album to have a smooth transition between one another. The album is filled with “cat and mouse” lovey dovey type songs, so this song goes right along with the theme of the “Love Potion” album.
What was the writing process for the song?
The writing process was very easy for this song. The way I write my songs is: I get a topic (as if you were going to be writing an essay in school) and I build around the topic with emotions, feelings, events, etc. This song is all about getting the girl. Flattery is very important and inspirational when writing these types of songs. When “getting the girl” you always want to use as much flattery in your songs as possible; complimenting the way she moves, looks, makes you feel, etc. The melodies come alive when I put the harmonies in. I get real excited when the right harmonies come out when I’m putting together a song including the basic background or “ooooohs” that you hear. It really excites me when I get the harmonies going. Plus, that stuff is a great way to challenge yourself.
What does this song’s lyric mean to you?
The lyrics of the song have no personal attachment to me personally, but the story I put myself in when writing this song was easy to do. When writing songs, I think up a scenario or scene that I can put myself in and I just go along with how I would like to verbally paint the picture.  Just like a visual artist that paints or draws from scratch, you think up a scenario or character and you create. It can be a really fun process if you have a great story to tell.
What would it be like to see you in person performing this song?
This song has a lot of great harmonies that back it up, so when the background singers perform it on stage it sounds sweet! The choreography entertains the audience from start to finish. The audience will appreciate all the harmonies and choreography that go into making this song.
Could your fans summarize who you are as an artist by this song?
I don’t think anybody can summarize who a person is with one particular song. It takes a combination of songs that span a career to really familiarize yourself with an artist.  For example, if I were to use someone like Michael Jackson, and all I ever heard from that artist was “Dirty Diana” then I would think that he is a rock star and did no pop music at all and he thought that all women were “dangerous” in a matter of speaking. So with that said, you would have to throw out all the positive music he has done like “Heal the World”, “Man in the Mirror”, Earth Song”, etc. All the feel good dance tunes and pop culture would all be irrelevant. So you can’t really summarize any artist with just one song.
Is there a video planned and or completed and if so, what was the idea behind the video?
The video is completed. It is available on YouTube at YouTube.com/TiminMusicEnt. Or go to www.timinmusicentertainment.com to check it out in the video section. The video has a basic storyline, the guy tries to get the girl to like him by singing to her and complimenting her and in the end he gets the girl. The video was filmed in my hometown (Sacramento CA) and it stars one of my old friends (Brianna) who actually passed away 5 months after the music video was filmed. She tragically died in a car accident, so every time I see the video it brings back memories of how she was and how much fun we had while making the music video. She will be missed.
What is your motivation behind your music?
My motivation behind my music is fueled by goals that I have that I have not reached yet. Throughout my whole life I have set goals for myself whether it be in weight training (doing a certain amount of weight, pushups, etc), landing a certain kind of job, or just a personal goal that had to be reached. I strive to be a great artist. My motto is to just keep moving. If you didn’t succeed this time around, move on to the next thing and get that going. To be successful, you have to work hard and not give up.
