Why did you select this song as your current single?
Because it’s a song that has a nice melody and an important message.
It’s those kind of songs that catch you for the simple fact of being a good song, but not because I think it is a radio friendly song of a “hit”.
How does this single relate to the rest of the Album, EP or Mixtape?
It definitely has the flavor, color and energy of the album, it is one of the most romantic songs on the album though.
What was the writing process for the song?
I have the habit to compose songs almost every week, this is one of those songs where the night was simply nostalgic and the melody lent itself to the feeling of that moment.
The funny thing is that in the moemnt that I was choosing the songs for the album, this was the one I liked the least, since it did not have the energy or the atmosphere as you listen to it today … but as I was producing it and calling the right musicians, the song flourished.
I always put the lyrics at the end, that’s the way I always compose, in this song the lyric definitely lifted to another level and now it is one of the best song in the album 😉
What does this song’s lyric mean to you?
Anything Wrong is obviously a breakup story. One of those breakups that happen for no substantial reason other than the fact that there is nothing else that can be done to salvage the relationship.
We’ve all been there, feeling a certain numbness or discomfort in our core that stems from no apparent source. Oftentimes though, the problem simply resides inside the individual and not the relationship itself.
What would it be like to see you in person performing this song?
Every person experiences different things when they see me sing. There are many who tell me that I have a special voice, others that my energy is intense and there are those who entertain themselves with my presence on stage.
The majority of times I performed to a public that does not know my songs, but fortunately I have experience and I can dominate the stage and thus be able to transmit..
This song was never sang in concert yet, but I’m sure it will be a nice experience for everyone, specially for me.
Could your fans summarize who you are as an artist by this song?
I am a composer of songs of different genres, I do albums of latin music, ballads, urban reggae, latin jazz, rock, tri-hop, But all the songs have something in common and it is my voice and the style of composing.
It’s funny how with time you put your stamp on what you do. But to go to your question, anyone who knows about me, will feel my energy in any song I do or sing.
Is there a video planned and or completed and if so, what was the idea behind the video?
The video is the recording session of the song, I wanted to give the audience the real feeling of how we recorded the song, I included some library images in an artistic way, to give a touch of what the lyrics means.
One last question, what is your motivation behind your music?
There is no motivation behind my music, my music is my motivation. Every time I create a song, I can’t wait to create the next one! so, to compose a song or to sing a song it is just a journey, Where I can get carried away and get lost in time.
