Why did you select this song as your current single?
I selected this song because it is honestly one of my favorite songs I’ve made to date.
How does this single relate to the rest of the Album, EP or Mix-tape?
It fits in place on there…lol.. it talks about life, where I’m from, and gives a positive definition to a commonly used word in our community.
What was the writing process for the song?
The writing process was crazy because I wasn’t in the United States when I wrote it. I was in Afghanistan working over there and me and a friend built a booth out of spare wood and I wrote it during that period.
What does this song’s lyric mean to you?
The songs lyrics mean a lot to me and I live by those principles such as I try to get my own on my own, I make sure my kids are always first in my life…my inspirations I call them!
Going into the second verse I talk about where I am from, Ohio. Definitely talking about home has special meaning to me…
What would it be like to see you in person performing this song?
It would be a great performance…I truly believe in giving fans the ultimate experience when I’m performing live.
Could your fans summarize who you are as an artist by this song?
They can definitely summarize me as a person by this song….I stay Saucy now lol
Is there a video planned and or completed and if so, what was the idea behind the video?
There is a video planned you will see the first glimpse of it in the Get it on the Floor Video at the end. I end that video going into the Saucy video…both of those videos will be released in early 2018
One last question, what is your motivation behind your music?
I just love music and the effect it has on people. Music is very powerful…a very powerful tool that if used in the right manner can have a positive effect on not only our youth but adults as well.
