In November of 2012, Michael Dunn a Florida man shot 10 shots in an SUV carrying 4 teenagers after an argument about loud music. One of the teenagers was fatality shot and his name was Jordan Davis. Today, the justice system worked for Jordan as his killer was found guilty of first degree murder.
According to the AP, Dunn was convicted of three counts of attempted second-degree murder in February and faced at least 60 years in prison. The jury in the first trial deadlocked on the first-degree murder count, which led prosecutors to retry him.
Prosecutors didn’t seek the death penalty, which means Dunn now faces a mandatory life sentence.
