Why did you select this song as your current single?
There were a few songs we had considered as a first single but it came down to which one we thought was the best crafted at the time. The concept for the song “Two Sides” is relatable to anyone who’s been a romantic relationship and the chorus has a catchy hook.
Please tell us how this single relate to the rest of the Album?
The concept of the album is that it highlights a lot of coming of age situations. Whether it be partying, overcoming obstacles, falling in love and going through breakups. “Two Sides” fits into the last category of hardships in love. We’re hoping that when people listen to the album from start to finish they get all the pieces of the record and can relate to every song in some way.
What was the writing process for the song?
After we had a basic concept down, chords, lyrics etc, We really focused on what we think is the part that pops out the most which is the percussion/ rhythm section. We really wanted something that popped and we’re very pleased with how the whole song came together.
Please tell what it would be like to see you in person performing this song?
I would use the words like energetic, fun, emotional, and powerful to describe our performance. We think it’s important that we show a lot of passion and connection to our songs when we perform. At the same time, we show our audience that we genuinely enjoy ourselves.
