From the artist that brought you internet hits “Cheeseburger” and “She’s Mad” PtheG was born and raised in Fresno Ca. After completing what may be his last release “Drunk Muzik III” he is ready to break into local and national airwaves with his catchy style known as “Drunk Muzik”.
Why did you select this song as your single?
I chose “#TABB (Twerk A Big Booty)” as my first single because of the current twerk trend. I spend some of my free time on social media sites and I noticed hundreds of videos incorporating this dance.
How does the single relate to the rest of the mixtape?
This song relates to the mixtape “Drunk Muzik III” in a way physical education related to your school day back in grade school. It switches things up, get you out of your seat to dance and move a little. It highlights the variation of Drunk Muzik.
What was the writing process for the song?
The writing process for the song was simple. I basically went on YouTube and Vine and watched “Twerkin” videos for about 2 hours. After that I started to notice what was common in all the videos and converted it to the lyrics you hear in the song. I basically summed up Twerking.
What would it be like to see you perform this song?
To see me performing this song you will get a ton of energy! I love when there is a good amount of women in the crowd because I invite them on the stage to twerk! It is a real crowd pleaser.
Could your fans summaries who you are as an artist by this song?
With this song alone no; however you can get a glimpse of what I do. I make catchy songs; rather it is about twerkin or drinking I make you want to do it lol.
So is there a video coming soon?
The video is actually in the works now. I am working with a director to put a video together. Instead of shooting your average video I want to get social media involved by allowing viewers to send in their clips “Twerkin” to the song. We plan to have the video drop this summer and we will start accepting submissions in April/May 2015.
One last question – what is the motivation behind your music?
My motivation for my music is a few things. Most importantly it is my loyal fans and listeners. Second I would say my experiences in life because without that I would have nothing to say; I am an artist that writes all my music and everything I say is real and authentic, no fairytales.
