Music News: The Kraken Quartet Will be Touring and Stopping in Pittsburgh

The Kraken QuartetThe Kraken Quartet will be touring the northeast in late July. Coming off a period of new collaboration and composition, this round of shows will feature brand new music by the band, as well as selections from their 2014 self-titled EP.

During the group’s most recent tour, they were featured as a critic’s pick by Time Out New York, and named one of the “Best concerts of 2014” by the Ithaca Journal. This summer tour features 11 shows in the Northeast over the course of 2 weeks. A complete list of dates is listed below.

The Kraken Quartet is a four-piece, all percussion band. The group takes influences of pop, rock, experimentalism, and minimalism to create their own exciting brand of music.
