Music News: Nika Cantabile Redelivers ‘Moonlight Carnival’ EP

In preparation for the late fall release of Nika Cantabile’s solo project, it has been decided to re-release Moonlight Carnival with two new versions of “Yami ni chiru Galaxy” and the title track. These two pieces will also be featured in on the full length album that will be released in the fall.
Rob Watts of Oceanview Press has stated of Nika’s style, “Cantabile creates a unique soundscape for listeners to venture through as she performs her violin in such a stellar way.”
Always in the art-rock genre Nika has been performing with La Tragédie around Canada and the US since 2015. Soon though she will perform as a solo act alongside guitarist David Atman, bassist Simon Labrecque and Philippe Bédard on drums for the first time come August 5 at the 7th Gabstock Festival. Between that show and the record release, Nika will also be releasing her debut video soon.
Pre-orders for the re-release will be available August 4, with the reissue of Moonlight Carnival officially dropping August 18.
