If there was ever an artist who had his finger on the pulse of bringing a worldview to hip hop, Klutch is it. A Filipino born in Saudi Arabia who now called the midwest home – he has seen a lot in his life and has put all of that and more into his music over the years, including last year’s #YOUNG. Which is why he’s getting ready to take it out on the road and share it on his upcoming #theYOUNGtour.
There are so many people in the world who love music, but not many take the chance to make it their career. Klutch did and it has led him to opening for some of the biggest names in the game including MKTO and Fat Joe. Now this rapper who can also carry a tune, much like Drake, is heading out on his own. With Breaking and Entering saying, “With a developed stage presence, Klutch is a name to watch for in the local hip hop scene, especially with 2015 just beginning,” it’s clear that this is an emcee who is more than a name on a playlist, but rather a true performer and artist.
#theYOUNGtour will be kicking off at the end of March at The Elbo Room in Chicago. He’ll zip down through Idaho and his hometown here in the states, Milwaukee, until he winds things down at Sanchos in San Antonio at the end of April.
