Having practiced for the studio recording of the five songs to be included on the upcoming EP “Face To Face“, singer songwriter John Thayer states “I’m very pleased with the way the project turned out. The songs are crisp, melodic, and pop oriented.”
“Face To Face” was recorded in Portland at “The Commune” which is owned and operated by producer Rob Daiker (Katy Perry, Meredith Brooks, Fame Riot). The album was mixed in Los Angeles by GRAMMY award winning producer Greg Collins (U2, No Doubt, Rob Thomas).
Thayer has nothing but great things to say about his co-producer. “Rob did a great job co-producing the project and Greg Collins did his usual brilliant job mixing the record. Rob is very creative and has a knack for finding the right texture and sound for the right moment in the song. Rob is pretty laid back but is not afraid to voice his opinion when it counts. He picks his spots.”
