This is the first EDM track that we have feature on our site and this will not be the last. This track by MAGNETIE is straight fire.
Why did you select this song as your current single?
This edm style started to become popular last year and is still is with the big-room house tunes, you can still see this style in beatport house charting tunes. Prior to this track, I was releasing a little less aggressive dance tunes so was testing things out after I heard ‘Mufasa’ by Laidback Luke & Peking Duk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDBkFyd_0s0 this track inspired me a bit so I wanted to make something in this style and here it is, after 6 months of work and waiting, it was finally released.
What was the writing process for this song?
Similar as the rest, up many nights in a row till very late hours making tunes in my home studio. For some weird reason my brain gets more creative at nights, usually after 10pm, another reason I called this track “March Of The Insomniacs” because I clearly became an insomniac while making this tune, recall going to sleep when the sun was coming out many times in a row.
What would it be like to see you in person performing this song?
I have long hair so you probably won’t be able to see my face while I play this track due to heavy headbanging, one of the things I do when I perform tracks like these unfortunately hehe
Could your fans summarize who you are as an artist by this song?
Totally, surprisingly it’s the track that has the most plays in my soundcloud, even more than some vocal tracks I have, so sounds like they like it and can relate.
Is there a video planned and or completed and if so, what was the idea behind the video?
Not for this particular track, but currently in the process of making my first video for an upcoming vocal track, so stay tuned.
One last question, what is your motivation behind your music?
Music itself, since I can remember I’ve always enjoyed and appreciated music of all kinds and genres, from heavy-metal to gangster-rap, classical to electronic, etc, the list can go on and on…. If I could get my hands on other genres I would, but there’s not enough hours in the day so doing the best with what I can, but who knows maybe withing time I’ll slowly transition into the next Missy Elliott (I wish! lol)
