Music: Losing Control By Kill The Sound – Orlando, FL

Kill the SoundKill the Sound is a 4 piece, female-fronted, Alternative/Rock band based out of Orlando, Florida.  Through relentless playing and great fan reaction, we have played with several national touring acts including;   Hunter Valentine(Universal), Sainthood Reps (Tooth and Nail),  Adema (Immortal Records), Silver Snakes (Tooth and Nail), Psychostick (Rock Ridge Music) and OTEP (Victory Records); We have also played several sold out shows in Orlando and been on two mini-tours. We’re consistently being invited to play larger downtown Orlando venues, like BackBooth and The Social and are becoming well known for our high octane live show.  Kill The Sound is also endorsed by Medalla (Budweiser), KKrows & Rock Gator Radio.
Why did you select this song as your current single?
Because it is powerful and has the right level of energy.  It represents the band.
How does this single relate to the rest of the Album, EP or Mix-tape?
It is the  title track of our upcoming album, “Losing Control”, a high-energy, powerful, punchy, in your face hard rock tune brought to you by the lovely KTS girls
What was the writing process for the song?
Cori Franks and Kim Acoustic write all the songs.  First we come up with a good & heavy rhythm, and then a story line gives way to the lyrics.
What does this song’s lyric mean to you?
It is about the struggles of mental illnesses.  Insomnia, confusion, disappointment and dementia and the desire to survive and strive without the use of medications.  It is also about unleashing your true self and losing control, and just living the moment.
What would it be like to see you in person performing this song?
You would see us literally lose control.  Our motto is to have a good time on stage and get the crowd pumped up and interacting!
Could your fans summarize who you are as an artist by this song?
Is there a video planned and or completed and if so, what was the idea behind the video?
The video for this song is scheduled to be recorded in July.  We will be doing it in the shed we practice at to show people that even in small, hot spaces, we can have a blast.
One last question, what is your  motivation behind your music?
Let people relate to us and one another by embracing their anger, sadness, and confusion and turning all of it into fun, exciting and positive energy through powerful music.
