Payout: $1,200-$1,600 per track
Prominent entertainment company known for distributing independent and foreign films is currently accepting songs for an upcoming Thriller feature film.
This story is about a doctor and his medical staff who select a small group of people as test subjects for a new secret experimental drug. The drug is supposed to enhance the senses and create some type of superhuman powers, but when the drug’s effects backfire causing chaos, the crew must halt the experiment and figure out a way to quickly revert the effects.
All genres will be accepted. Instrumental and vocal submissions (male and/or female). Cues and partial songs will be accepted as well and songs can be pre-existing or specifically composed for the film.
There will be several high action/ violent scenes that will be featured throughout the film so please submit songs that are appropriate for the following themes;
-suspense, action, danger, intense
(Songs for this theme should preferably have a faster tempo.)
There will also be several emotional scenes throughout, portraying the outcome of the procedure and the detrimental effects it has on the patients, so please submit songs that are appropriate.
Songs are also needed for the closing credits of the film. They are open to all genres as long as the music does not have a happy, and fun vibe.
The songs are mainly going to be used as background music so lyrics are not as important as the sound and vibe of the song.
Songs must also be of high quality but professional home recordings will work as well.
There are no publisher splits so you will keep 100% of the payout fee if your music is selected. Artists will retain all copyrights and ownership of their material. The pay will range from $1,200-$1,600 per track, depending on the use and feature, plus film credit. This is also a great opportunity for exposure.
This opportunity is open to all artists worldwide so Music Clout members from all geographical areas will be considered.
All submissions must be received no later than 12:00 AM (PST) on April 19th, 2014 to be considered.
