Music: Let it Shine by John Blake – Florida

LiCheck out new music from John Blake
Why did you select this song as your current single?
Out of about six singles chose Your Light (Let It Shine) to be y first release because I felt it would touch lives as much as it touches me every time I listen to it. Your Light brings great encouragement to never give up no matter the fight.
How does this single relate to the rest of the Album, EP or Mix-tape?
Currently at the moment I’m not working on any mixtapes or albums only singles.
What was the writing process for the song?
The writing process was fast. The hook was made up by Elisa Polanco and the producer Troyton Rami who then came to me with me and asked me if I liked it. It sounded great so I took it and immediately we began working on my verses.
What does this song’s lyric mean to you?
There’s so much meaning behind the lyircs to talk about the main thing is no matter how hard life maybe, never doubt your beliefs, live up to what you want out of life, and never give up the fight. We all face trials and tribulations in this life cause its just a part of life, so never feel your alone and never give up.
What would it be like to see you in person performing this song?
It will be amazing because this song you have to sing from the heart and express each word. So it will be felt and it will open eyes.
Could your fans summarize who you are as an artist by this song?
Somewhat because I live to inspire and entertain at the same time. So at the same time of encouraging I love to have to have fun ad club so I’ll be bringing them bangers as well which of course will have some people with other thoughts about me.
Is there a video planned and or completed and if so, what was the idea behind the video?
Yes, the video is up and live on youtube under Johnblakevevo. The whole idea behind it was just to make it look as real as we could. So that people could feel it and relate to it.
One last question, what is your motivation behind your music?
I’ve made it through allot of struggle in my life. I’ve learned allot from people and the trials and tribulations I’ve been through, throughout my childhood. If it wasn’t for the encouragement from people and the music I loved listening to it like Tupac Shakur music. I don’t think I’ll be here today. So I want to give back now that same motivation with my music for others going through struggles in life.
