Music: Getting Better by Designer D.

I selected “gettin better” because it says a lot about the project itself and everything that’s been going into it along the way. Whether its something with my team, my music, just everything affiliated with my life in general through out this project, I think “gettin better” says it all.

The song is titled “gettin better” so if you keep listening…it’s going to GET BETTER haha. But really, the song brings a different vibe to a HipHop labeled song and is a perfect fitting piece to the puzzle that is the album.

Well a lot of the writing for this song,and album, happened while we were on a stretch of shows in our hometown (Butler). Doing showcases all around western PA, Pittsburgh area ,and traveling to NYC together as a team (YoungPilots). New lines would just be pouring out of my head from everything that was going on at the time. But pieced together here and there.i slept on it for a little while, until I linked up with Trill Crosby (Producer) and everything just fit like a glove. it’s when I really started to get serious about what I was saying and how I portray myself as an artist through my songs. Along with what path I was laying out for my career. This project definitely shows the transition from what I’ve been learning just from being involved on the scene.

Since being dropped as the album leak the song has been used to start my sets in the past few shows, Expect a different vibe when you see this performed by me. It makes everybody in the room wanna just groove. Young or old this song opens people’s ears when played and can set the mood for the whole night.
