1. Why did you select this song as your current single?
I selected “Forever True Feat. Marly & Hubbs” as my current single because I’m a huge fan of golden era hip hop and that’s what this song resembles.
2. If there is a video for the song, please explain the concept?
The concept of the video was to pass a turntable around between me, Marly, Hubbs, and DJ Bamboo since the record was scratched on. I wanted to make all of the viewers to feel the old school vibe as well.
3. Please tell us how this single relate to the rest of the Album?
This single relates to the rest of the mixtape because it’s titled “FILLING THE VOID” which means I’m filling the void in hip hop by being forever true.
4 What was the writing process for the song?
The writing process for this song was that each emcee (me, Marly, & Hubbs) each got a 16 bar verse to explain why we are going to be forever true.
5. Please tell what it would be like to see you in person performing this song?
It would be more of a laid back performance so everyone could vibe to the lyrics and take them back to the early 90’s when hip hop like this existed.
