Music: Crime of Passion by Beema – Fort Pierce, FL

BeemaCheck out Beema, we chose her as one of our Music Clout winners as we loved her rapping style she is has raw emotion. Not too much to ask for, with that alone you will always put out great music. Check out this quick interview we did with her new single.
Why did you select this song as your current single?
Based off the feedback received from my #TeamBeema supporters, this is their favorite song on the mixtape. It’s my job to push what my supporters want to hear.
How does this single relate to the rest of the Mix-tape?
This single confirms that you don’t know what will come out of my mouth next, but my lyrical content is so realistic it give listeners full confidence that whatever may come out my mouth next is certified fire.

What was the writing process for the song?

The writing process was very interesting and entertaining for myself, because I was amazed at how creative and blessed I am. Plenty of times I said to myself, “dang, what are you gonna say next” but once I take a couple moments to think, I’d immediately think of the perfect lyrics. This song was a test of my skills, and I’m glad to say I stepped up to the challenge and delivered.

What does this song’s lyric mean to you?

The song lyrics are so real, and the picture painted could happen to anyone involved in a romantic relationship. Goes back to that old clique “Don’t play with people feelings”. Crime of Passion is the same at temporary insanity. It happens.
What would it be like to see you in person performing this song?
I would be in full character {laughing}. I call myself a hip hop entertainer because I’m more than just a rapper. I want to entertain my audience and give them their monies worth. I’m very passionate about my music.
Could your fans summarize who you are as an artist by this song?
I would say No, because I dibble and dabble into all types of topics. I will never limit my talents. Each song is a task to me, it’s my job to make the song as best I possibly can. In the case of Crime of Passion, my supporters proudly say, “Beema, job well done”. Now I’m on to the next challenge.
Is there a video planned and or completed and if so, what was the idea behind the video?
A video is planned, and we will begin shooting it Spring 2014. The song is self-explanatory so I expect the video to bring life to my vision.

One last question, what is your motivation behind your music?
Music has delivered me through devastation’s that I had no idea I could persevere through. Music saved me. It was my outlet. We all want our lives to be great, but there is nothing greater then being a inspiration to someone else’s life. My music touch people because I actually speak on various topics that they can relate to. While I’m a fan of my music, I was a fan of hip hop first so I will never disrespect it. Mad love and respect for the history of hip hop. It’s dope.
