Music: Count Me Out by December – North Carolina / Texas

Why did you select this song as your current single?
Tonight (Hippie Child) is one of our oldest songs and we felt it was long overdue to be recorded.  It was also the first song we tested for the concept of this album by recording all parts remotely.
How is this single relate to the rest of the EP?

This single was rewritten from a “singer-songwriter” field to more of a “pop” feel for this album.  As are all the songs on this album, this song is one of the many brought out of the vault from member’s Chuck Conser and John Holt’s earlier writings.
What was the writing process for the song?
Like all the songs on this album, “Tonight (Hippie Child)” was completely rewritten and recorded with only the use of Dropbox to share files, our home studio’s for recording, and Google + video conferencing to collaborate on the completion of this album.

What would be like to see you in person performing this song?

Since both members of December are remote from each other, any shows would be full of excitement as we don’t get to play together much and would consist of an acoustic raw and natural feel to the song.
If there is a video for the song, please explain the concept?
There is currently no video for this song.  But, we have been in talks of doing video for a couple of the songs on the album and this is high on that list.

December Chuck Conser
December John Holt
