MODEL INTERVIEW:
My name is Yi, I was born and raised in China until I was nine. I came to American and have been living in Philadelphia, New Jersey and now currently reside in Pittsburgh, PA. I have obtained a BA degree in Natural Science and an AA degree in Physical Therapy Assistant. I work as a Promotional Model as a Part-time job. I have been modeling for the past 2 years and really enjoy doing photo-shoots, promotions, and events. My goal for the modeling industry is to be featured in multiple domestic and international publications. I will use my skills and experiences to eventually opening up an online lingerie store and other business endeavors. I believe modeling can help me succeed in my dreams and goals in the future, thus it is a path for me to pursue.
2. What do you think appeals to a women the most when listen to a song (voice, lyrics, and or instrumental) and why?
I believe that instrumental appeal first to women when listening to a song, because all songs start with a beat, this is what catches our ears, then the voice and finally the lyrics. Although lyrics/voice will eventually catches a person liking to the complete song.
3. What type of music are you willing to spend your hard earned money on?
I will spend my money on any music that will benefit the artist. I love to help artist that are motivated to be in the top and willing to sacrifice all their time in devotion to their music, of course as in return, I do hope they will support us.
4. At this magazine we feel that women are the driving force behind most strong lyrics in music, and thus the reason why most trends in music are created? Do you agree and why?
I agree, women are seen as a sex-symbol worldwide, it is the driving force behind most strong lyrics because of the relationship between men and women. Although in the current society, there are varieties of different relationship between gender, but all mostly pertain to “love and life”.
5. What music makes you move?
I love house music, Hip-hop, dancing, pop, or any mixture of the variety listed.
6. What do you feel you will have to do in modeling to make you feel you have made it?
As I mentioned earlier, my goals were to be featured in domestic and international publications.
7. If you made it to your dreams what would you do to give back to other models?
I will gladly give back to the modeling community by offering mentorship, workshops, and guidance to aspiring models.
8. What makes a woman beautiful?
I believe personality and appearances are the two main things that make a woman beautiful. If you are beautiful on the inside, you’re beautiful on the outside. However, people perceive each individual differently, you may not think one person is beautiful but other may think he/she is.
9. What are your best qualities?
I would say my personality is my best quality.
