Why did you select this song as your current single?
I picked this song as my newest single because its a smooth track and takes my back to my R n B hip hop roots. This song represents a more mature and refined version of some of the music that I made when I was just starting out.
How does this single relate to the rest of the Album, EP or Mix-tape?
This single ties right in to the rest of the album because this upcoming album is more of a self-centered one for me. We still have some features but for the most part each track is centered around “LiL CHiZ”!
What was the writing process for the song?
When I heard the instrumental for this song I instantly heard a song for it. I called my boy Jaynell as soon as his was in the booth the hook was done and as he was recording the hook my lyrics just flowed. About an hour later the song was born!
What does this song’s lyric mean to you?
This is most definitely a song for the ladies. The lyrics are things that I would tell a young woman that is looking for something different.
What would it be like to see you in person performing this song?
You would see me down off the stage and interacting with various women in the audience. Getting up close and personal with my lyrics.
Could your fans summarize who you are as an artist by this song?
Maybe not summarize but they could get a good feel of me as an artist from this song. The song is smooth and something you can vibe too. But as an artist I am versatile so I believe I have something that everybody will love.
Is there a video planned and or completed and if so, what was the idea behind the video?
The idea behind the video will be a “Michael Jackson – The Way You Make Me feel” vibe. There will be a young lady doing her thing and guys all on her. Then I will come up and just start spitting my lyrics to her. It will have a little bit of a dirty feel yet still very smooth.
One last question, what is your motivation behind your music?
I know this is going to sound cliché but my motivation is my daughters. Even if I never make it to the Hollywood walk of fame I will always live through my music. If anything, ever happens to me my music is all over the internet and it will remain they so they will always have a piece of me.
