Why did you select this song as your current single?
This song was selected because I just got out of jail for a car chase and it best described the way you feel after doing 11 months for a non-violent offense. So it’s a song about leaving jail, relationship, even a bad habit.
How does this single relate to the rest of the Album, EP or Mix-tape?
The Album is just a concept right now. We haven’t written much except the first single and the intro which Is stand up. It will relate to the Return of the Beast album as a sequel.
What was the writing process for the song?
My writing process for every song is similar. I find an issue and I try to understand what most people would agree or disagree with.
What does this song’s lyric mean to you?
The lyrics are sparse but they are deep with emotion. I think this song will remind me to stay out of jail. It also reminds me of my past lovers.
What would it be like to see you in person performing this song?
When I perform live you hear the most updated version of the song. I try to give my best, but I don’t plan to perform for long.
Could your fans summarize who you are as an artist by this song?
NO way!!… I sing, rap, write and perform. Fans would really just see a very small part of what we at MtB Entertainment actually do.
Is there a video planned and or completed and if so, what was the idea behind the video?
We have a video in mind for a future single called “Imma Let You Hate”…But it’s in it’s infancy so no concept yet.
One last question, what is your motivation behind your music?
My motivation behind my music is joy. I enjoy writing and keeping it real. Girls are a motivation as well.
