Fight to Tennessee

Damn, After Pxrty hit us with this “Flight to Tennessee” and we had to find out more about his amazing sound. Check out the thought that went behind the creation of this single.
Why did you select this song as your current single?
I selected this song because I feel it just has the energy that I was trying to capture on this project just raw bravado and lyricism and that I wanted to convey.
How does this single relate to the rest of the EP?
This song is the second song on my EP “East Grand Rapids Yacht Club” and I always feel that the second song has to be the song that lets the people know what they’re in for and I feel that this song represents that perfectly by the production, lyrics and just the feel it definitely lets you know that I’m here
What was the writing process for the song?
The writing process was very smooth all of the words just came to me. Words would just come to me and I just had to make sure to write them all down as they came and I remember writing the chorus the night before I had to catch the flight and I thought I would be flying to Tennessee which is how I came up with the title “Flight to Tennessee” but I didn’t find out till late I would be actually flying to Atlanta but since I already had the hook I just end up writing the rest of the song on my flight to Atlanta
What does this song’s lyric mean to you?
The song lyrics mean a lot to me because it represents my whole mindset of just wanting to be great and definitely feeling like it’s my time and I’m ready to show the world that
What would it be like to see you in person performing this song?
I think it would be good just great raw energy that the people can feel
Could your fans summarize who you are as an artist by this song?
I definitely think so I feel this record speaks for itself and as subjective as music is I feel even if its not for you that you can still listen and hear that its great work.
Is there a video planned and or completed and if so, what was the idea behind the video?
A video is not planned at the moment but if that changes you’ll definitely know
One last question, what is your motivation behind your music?
My motivation is just the love of doing it. I love hip hop and I love making music and I love it so much that I want people to enjoy it and love it as well.
