Fashion: Spring Trends 2014

“FASHION CURVE” hosts, SHANEKA LAVAE & DIAMUND ROUFF often “AGREE to DISAGREE” when it comes to their passion for fashion. But, fabulously, they both agree that FLORALS and MIXED PRINTS ARE HIT TRENDS FOR SPRING 2014!!

FLORALS:

Shaneka, “I absolutely love, love, love Florals and Mixing prints for Spring 2014 trends! I fell in love with the subtle yet literal Designs of ELIE SAAB’s 2014 Spring Runway collection, it was immaculate! The models were floating flawless with effortless tailoring, perfect boning, delicate lace and eclectic floral placements. For instance the long flowing white dress with Florals at the waistline, this was such a bold statement and it looks amazing! I want that dress…”

Diamund: “Yes, I agree with Shaneka, Elie Saab appears to truly understand a woman’s form and the most amazing thing about this Spring 2014 collection is not just the breathtaking designs, but it is truly “ready to wear” any woman seen in Elie Saabs designs this spring is sure to light up a room and leave onlookers speechless! I mean, there are designs for everyone woman’s body and style! FABULOUS!! BRAVO!!”

MIXED PRINTS:

DIAMUND:”One of my favorite trends of spring 2014 is mixed prints. I am a bit of a Risque’ Fashion enthusiast, so I absolutely love daring fashions and looks. Mixing prints allows one to be creative and funky with amazing colors and designs like graphics, tribals, florals, stripes and polka dots.” I love how literally anything goes and you can look fresh off of a Milan catwalk.”

SHANEKA: “Yes, I agree with Diamund, I love taking fashion risks, for some reason mixing prints is more than just a trend, it is a statement, a way of saying, I am here, I do what I want and I look FABULOUS doing it! If you’re scared of mixing prints, the easiest way to start is with black and white, these are always a winning combination!” Also, Fashionistas, can get more use out of those separate pieces.
