Why did you select the song as your single?
Aside from being a song that people can move to, it not only shows the essence of who I am as a person, but as an artist as well.
What was the writing process like for this song?
Well recently my drummer (Steal D) was placed on house arrest. At first I panicked canceling all shows struggling to find backups. Then I realized that is was a blessing in disguise. We took those 60 days in the basement of his house to stay away from the party scene and write the “House Arrest” EP. It really too us back to our roots playing next to the washer and dryer again. They were the best producers we’ve yet to have and were happy with all the creative freedom they gave us.
What does this song mean to you?
To me this song means breaking free from a bad addiction and feeling something real. Weather that’s a relationship that’s weighing you down, drug abuse, or hiding from who you really are.
How does it relate to the rest of the EP?
Much like the rest of the tracks it sends the message of trying to overcome something and shares a piece of me to the listeners
