Experimental indie folk/Baroque pop artist and composer Dia release new EP entitled “Tiny Oceans” . Dia is off of Manimal Records and her new EP was produced by Joey Waronker of Beck, Atoms for Peace fame. Raised on a Hindu ashram, she sang ceremonial ragas as a child, which led to training and performing as an opera singer throughout the U.S. and Europe. Along these travels, she began experimenting with music and writing song fragments on a ukulele, which was gifted to her by her brother.
No all grown up Dia has put together a nice experiment for the ears. I think this is a nice start to a career that will go though a number of changes before she hit her final sound.
