ARTIST COMMENT:
We started off as a couple of friends just looking to jam. After a while we decided to change directions and take a more serious approach to playing music. At that point, the search began for the right parts to make the beast that is Disarming the Axis. Finally, after about a year of searching, we found the right members to achieve the sound we were looking for. Our style of music is called metalcore, which is a cross between heavy metal and hardcore punk. We play in that style because it’s what we all listen to and we wanted to put our own personal touch on it.
