MARSH
UK experimentalist MARSH (aka Nick Marsh) releases a new single ‘Call Out the Ace’ :- a nod tothe Chicago footwork scene, with accompanying video that borrows from NZ experimental filmmaker Len Lye and Wisconsin VJ Beeple (Flying Lotus, Skrillex). MARSH is currently in production for an as-yet-untitled EP following the success of his ‘Hieroglyph’ EP. MARSH also has a strictly limited edition cassette release scheduled for later this year with British/Norwegianlabel Electronic Tapes.
MARSH is an English electronic musician who began his musical journey at the age of 7. Drawing on a range of influences from House, Dub, Reggae, Instrumental Hip Hop, through to Techno, footwork and the Beats scene. MARSH has written and produced original score for awardwinning documentary ‘Karearea: the Pine Falcon’, gangster flick ‘You Move You Die’ (Sony), and independent art-house release ‘The Magician’ (Michael Hurst)
