Liz Wiegard
Liz Wiegard is a singer, a songwriter, and a cat-lover, but not necessarily in that order. She started playing guitar in middle school because she thought it would make her cooler, but the jury is still out on whether or not that actually worked. She has, however, been singing for much longer than that. Liz, while not classically trained, is a wonderfully versatile and exceptionally skilled vocal talent.
As a songwriter, Liz is heavily influence by artists like Ed Sheeran, Passenger, and Florence + The Machine amongst many others. Her songs usually feature
an expressively percussive rhythm in both the vocal melody and accompanying guitar. And although she’s currently working on studio recordings, her live performances are usually very simple (just her and her guitar) and are all about the music.
