One girl, four guys and a sound that mimics the Beatles at times and the Red Hot Chili Peppers at others.  The Noted’s brand new album “At This Moment” delivers the type of singer/songwriter soft indie rock that the hipster set craves.
At This Moment opens with “More Than Alright.”  The track starts musically with the type of old school sound that you would expect from a Beatles record, then the lead vocals kick in and you’re transported back to the 21st Century with sophisticated lyrics and smooth production.
The album boasts one cover song, “Only Wanna Be With You.”  Most bands do their covers exactly like the original recording, not so with The Noted’s seasoned musicians.  Somehow the band managed to make Hootie’s ode to a lovely lady semi 60s soft rock sounding.
The album’s title track begins with a Pink Floyd sounding intro then kicks into some very inspirational lyrics that America needs to hear.  The hook asks us to live each moment like it’s our last.
If this were your last moment, you wouldn’t be making a bad decision by listening to The Noted’s new album.  If you’re a fan of fast songs that make you want to roll the window down, you may want to look elsewhere, but if you’re a fan of singer/songwriter music and like to delve deep into lyrics, The Noted has posted “At This Moment” to Spotify for easy access.  You can
